How do flags work?

The app compares each ingredient against an offline dataset of known potential fungal-acne triggers. A potential trigger means the ingredient class has evidence behind it — the app always shows WHY plus strength of evidence. No known trigger means nothing in the dataset matched.

What does "not recognized" mean?

Either a typo — check the spelling or use the INCI name from the label — or a real ingredient the dataset deliberately does not judge (often a botanical extract whose makeup varies too much to rule on). Not judged is not the same as fine.

Is this medical advice?

No. Skinlazia screens ingredient lists; it does not diagnose, treat, or certify any product. Concentration, formulation, and your skin matter and the app cannot see them. When in doubt, ask a dermatologist.
